Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Spring Valley
Conficare designed and developed Kindred’s premier Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Facility located at the corner of West Russell Road and South Rainbow Blvd, in Las Vegas’ Southwest neighborhood of Spring Valley.
The 2-story facility includes 108 Private Units, 24 Semi-Private Units, and 4 Bariatric Care Private units. All residents have access to the numerous rehabilitation amenities that include a covered outdoor therapy gym with putting green, state of the art therapy equipment, pet therapy, a transitional home therapy suite, and gourmet menu selections, with open dining times. Recreational amenities include an internet café, rejuvenating salon services, a community room featuring a projection movie screen with surround sound, and a sun deck with a view of the Las Vegas strip.
The architecture and design of this facility includes a beautiful lobby featuring an entrance into a decorative, 2 story, “rippled” ceiling clerestory, that receives an abundance of natural light during the day and is highlighted by LED accent lighting at night to create a unique architectural feature. The decorative ceiling’s epicenter is further highlighted by a 14’ Water Feature composed of black granite slabs. The exterior is dressed in a decorative, yet functional exterior stone façade that accents a multi-colored, earth toned, masonry finishing system that embodies the culture of the Southwest. A circular drive arriving under a freestanding Porte cochere at the Main entrance, with perpendicular automatic doors, are inviting features from the desert wind & heat; and one of the many functional touches that comes with an experienced developer.
In addition, a high energy efficient heating and cooling system was designed to save our client on heating and cooling expenses. This system incorporated a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system from LG coupled with multiple energy recovery air handling units.
