MISSION, VALUES & GUIDING PRINCIPLES
"We strive to be the trusted leader in home health by delivering compassionate, efficient, quality care through innovative product & service solutions, while acting with integrity and valuing and respecting our relationships."
The performance expectations of our employees are centered on the Company’s core set of values:
- PEOPLE
- INTEGRITY/HONESTY
- INNOVATION
- FINANCIAL STRENGTH
- PARTNERSHIP
Values are one of most important and critical ingredients of a successful company. To maintain our focus on our Company’s mission, vision and values, we have developed seven Guiding Principles. We use these principles every day to guide us in building trust and compassion for patients and customers. They become the platform upon which to base all decisions we are faced with every day. These are so important and frequently used; they have become habit of our employees. We refer to these guiding principles as the 7 P’s.
- Principle: This simply means we behave with truthfulness and integrity towards each other and our customers.
- Patients: All we do ultimately relates to our primary service – caring for patients. Ensuring our actions and decisions affects them in a positive manner clinically and ethically.
- Positive: Attitude is everything. It defines your perception as well how you are perceived. Our customers, internal and external, will recognize this trait.
- Personnel: Our employees make and define our company. Therefore, we place a lot of value on each other. We are committed to providing a company that is passionate about each other and treats employees fairly, consistently and ethically and values candid two-way communication. As a result, employees will be expected to do the same for the patients, other customers and fellow employees.
- Professional: We will behave professional at all times and expect the same from others. This includes behavior, appearance and ultimately, perception.
- Payment: Our processes and decisions will ensure payment is and will be received. This means following processes to establish record of proof of work, including documentation, insurance verification, billing, and data collection and evaluation.
- Prudence: We will be cost-efficient in ALL we do. The question, “what is the cost benefit?” will be included in our thought process in making decisions. How does a decision affect the company, the patient, the referral source, and society as a whole financially?
Each employee is an ambassador of the Company and should understand and commit themselves to these values and principles in all that you do.
